Voyager stock surges 6% on Anduril partnership announcement

September 29, 2026 8:12 AM EDT

Investing.com -- Voyager Technologies (NYSE: VOYG) shares rose 6% Tuesday following the announcement of a strategic partnership with Anduril Industries to develop and produce advanced weapons systems and missile defense technologies.

The partnership formalizes an existing collaboration between the two defense companies across multiple weapons programs, including several Department of Defense priority initiatives. Voyager is contracted to supply more than $60 million of critical technologies to Anduril, including solid rocket motors, divert and attitude control systems, and other advanced capabilities.

The companies said the partnership establishes a shared pipeline of additional programs and places focus on manufacturing as programs move toward high-rate production. Both firms are leveraging combined investments in testing and production infrastructure to deliver systems at scale.

Anduril is constructing a 1.18 million square foot campus in Long Beach, California, scheduled to open in 2027, adding to its existing production lines at Arsenal-1 in Columbus, Ohio. Voyager is developing its American Defense Complex in Pueblo, Colorado, which when fully scaled could support production rates of approximately 15,000 to 20,000 propulsion systems per month across its portfolio.

"We’ve invested more than $500 million in propulsion, energetics and manufacturing capacity to be ready for exactly this moment," said Matt Magaña, president, Space, Defense & National Security at Voyager. "This partnership converts that investment into production programs today and positions us for the demand we expect as next-generation missile defense expands nationally."

The companies’ scaled operations in Southern California place their engineering and development teams in close proximity, enabling faster design, integration, prototyping and iteration across advanced weapon systems.
