SaverOne receives 17th patent for sensor fusion calibration system
SaverOne 2014 Ltd. (Nasdaq: SVRE) announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office granted the company a new patent (US 12,742,850 B2) on September 22, 2026, covering sensor fusion-based classification of calibration and maintenance events for its Phone Location Unit (PLU).
The patent covers technology that allows SaverOne's in-vehicle system to identify when it requires calibration or maintenance and determine the type of action needed, enabling remote servicing of fleet deployments.
With the addition of this patent, SaverOne's portfolio now includes 23 total patents, of which 17 have been granted across multiple jurisdictions and six remain pending. The company holds patents in the United States, Europe, Israel, China, and the United Kingdom.
CEO Ori Gilboa stated, "As our systems are deployed across larger commercial fleets, keeping every unit accurate over the life of the vehicle becomes increasingly important. This technology allows our Phone Location Unit to recognize when it needs calibration or maintenance and what type of action is required, supporting our efficient remote service at-scale."
SaverOne develops RF-based solutions for transportation safety, defense, and homeland security markets. Its primary commercial product is designed to prevent vehicle accidents caused by driver distraction from mobile phone use.
