September 29, 2026 6:05 AM EDT

Nokia (NYSE: NOK) announced that Zain KSA has launched Nokia Deepfield Cloud Intelligence across its network, covering more than 100 cities in Saudi Arabia.

The deployment gives Zain KSA real-time, end-to-end visibility into its network, with the stated goal of faster troubleshooting and improved service assurance. The platform correlates global internet data with network telemetry to support proactive network optimization.

A key component of the solution is Deepfield Cloud Genome, described as a continuously updated map of the internet that categorizes applications and services across more than 30 categories using over 100 AI and machine learning rules. The platform is built on a cloud-native architecture and is designed to provide structured data for analytics and digital services.

Sultan Mohammad Alsabhan, Vice President of Technology Operations at Zain KSA, said the integration provides "deeper, real-time visibility into traffic patterns and enables more precise performance optimization across critical applications and services."

Mikko Lavanti, President of Nokia Middle East and Africa and Managing Director of Nokia's Regional Headquarters in Saudi Arabia, said the deployment "equips Zain KSA with the insights needed to improve service quality, optimize network investments, and accelerate its evolution toward a software-driven, AI-ready network."

According to the announcement, the solution is intended to help Zain KSA monitor over-the-top and cloud services, identify congestion or latency issues before they affect customers, and support services including video streaming and cloud gaming.
