Volante Technologies and Circle Internet Group (NYSE: CRCL) announced a collaboration to integrate USDC stablecoin payment and settlement capabilities into existing bank payment infrastructure, according to a press release from Volante Technologies.
Through the arrangement, Volante is adding USDC workflows to its payments platform, allowing financial institutions to evaluate stablecoin activity alongside existing payment rails and operational controls without building a separate digital asset infrastructure.
Volante clients will be able to test workflows including minting, redemption, beneficiary wallet registration, funding, notifications, and wallet-to-wallet payment execution within their current payments systems. Volante counts four of the top five global corporate banks and seven of the top 10 U.S. banks among its clients.
Nikhil Chandhok, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Circle, said: "As stablecoins become an increasingly important component of modern payments infrastructure, financial institutions need practical ways to understand how digital dollars can fit within existing operations."
Deepak Gupta, Chief Product, Engineering, and Delivery Officer at Volante Technologies, said the company also plans future collaboration around Circle Mint and potential joint go-to-market opportunities. "For banks, stablecoin adoption is not about building a separate digital asset stack; it is about integrating a new rail into the payment infrastructure they already depend on," Gupta said.
USDC is issued by regulated affiliates of Circle.
