Telos Corporation (NASDAQ: TLS) has been awarded a $13.7 million contract by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to modernize the agency's cyber governance, risk, and compliance processes, according to a company press release.
The 18-month task order covers deployment of Telos's Xacta suite — Xacta 360, Xacta.io, and Xacta.ai — for the HHS Office of the Chief Information Officer and Office of Information Security. The contract also includes cybersecurity services, enterprise integration, training, and data migration support.
Xacta 360 will handle security authorization workflows, control assessments, compliance documentation, and continuous monitoring. Xacta.io will consolidate data from security tools across the HHS enterprise to improve visibility into cyber risk, while Xacta.ai will apply AI-based automation to reduce manual compliance work and generate risk insights.
The full Xacta platform carries FedRAMP Class D (High) authorization, which the company describes as the program's highest security baseline, allowing deployment in environments that handle sensitive unclassified federal information.
"Deploying the full Xacta suite across the HHS enterprise demonstrates the scale and breadth of what our cyber GRC platform can deliver for large, complex federal organizations," said John B. Wood, chairman and chief executive officer of Telos.
