Teledyne Technologies (NYSE: TDY) announced that Jason VanWees, Vice Chairman, will retire effective February 1, 2027, and that Mary Grace DeForest has been appointed Corporate Vice President of Investor Relations and Mergers and Acquisitions, effective November 1, 2026.
VanWees joined Teledyne before the company's spin-off in 1999 and was named Vice Chairman in 2021. During his tenure, he led the acquisition of 75 businesses for a cumulative consideration of $12.8 billion. Teledyne's sales and market capitalization have grown approximately 8x and over 100x, respectively, since the company became independent.

In her current role as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Teledyne Microwave, she oversees a group of businesses with 880 employees and $320 million in annual revenue.
Robert Mehrabian, Executive Chairman, said in a statement: "Jason's retirement and Mary Grace's appointment overlap to ensure continuity in this important role at Teledyne."
DeForest holds a Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Science in Statistics from Stanford University, and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University.
