Corteva (NYSE: CTVA) announced that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has declared effective the Form 10 registration statement for Vylor, a seed and genetics company that Corteva plans to separate into an independent, publicly traded entity.
The separation is expected to be completed on Oct. 1, 2026. Corteva stockholders of record as of the close of business on Sept. 24, 2026, will receive one share of Vylor common stock for every share of Corteva common stock held at that time.
The distribution is expected to occur before 9:30 a.m. New York City time on Oct. 1, 2026. Vylor common stock has been authorized for listing on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "VYLR," with regular-way trading expected to begin the same day.
Corteva stated there will be no "when-issued" trading in Vylor common stock or "ex-distribution" trading in Corteva common stock prior to the distribution.
The Form 10 includes details about Vylor's business, strategy, and priorities, as well as information about the separation process.
