Lōkahi Therapeutics partners with Pepperdine on pipeline program
Lōkahi Therapeutics, a subsidiary of Glucotrack, Inc. (NASDAQ: GCTK), has announced a collaboration with Pepperdine E2B (Education to Business) to involve MBA students in its ai2 Pipeline program during the upcoming academic year.
The collaboration will begin with a project involving full-time MBA students enrolled in a marketing course at the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, taught by Professor Kimber Maderazzo. Students will work alongside Lōkahi professionals to identify, evaluate, and prioritize therapeutic opportunities, assessing scientific, regulatory, intellectual property, commercial, and strategic factors relevant to biopharmaceutical asset development.
According to the company, the ai2 Futures Lab program engaged 64 students in its first year and identified more than 45 potential assets, several of which have entered active pipeline discussions.
"Pepperdine students bring intellectual curiosity, strong analytical skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset that aligns well with our ai2 approach," said Brian Peters, SVP of the ai2 Division at Lōkahi Therapeutics.
Lynda Palmer, Program Director of Pepperdine E2B, said the collaboration gives students "exposure to the interdisciplinary decision-making that drives innovation in the life sciences sector."
The information is based on a press release issued by Lōkahi Therapeutics.
