SOS Limited reports $75.57M in digital assets, plans Indonesia data center

SOS Limited (NYSE: SOS) reported a combined fair value of approximately $75.57 million in Bitcoin and Ethereum holdings as of Sept. 24, 2026, down from approximately $79.1 million at Dec. 31, 2025, according to a press release based on the company's 2025 Annual Report on Form 20-F.

The holdings consist of approximately 802.77 Bitcoin and equivalents valued at $67.68 million, and approximately 2,949.79 Ethereum and equivalents valued at $7.88 million. The company adopted ASU 2023-08 on Jan. 1, 2025, and measures these assets at fair value, with changes recognized in earnings.

The company's 2025 annual report also disclosed material weaknesses in financial reporting controls related to crypto-related assets and mining equipment, including valuation, existence, and ownership-verification procedures.

Hosting revenue reached $7.50 million in 2025, up 15.3% from $6.51 million in 2024 and $2.37 million in 2023. Hosting represented approximately 4.9% of total revenue in 2025, with commodity trading remaining the company's largest revenue segment.

On Sept. 18, 2026, SOS announced a nonbinding framework memorandum entered into by its Singapore subsidiary, Future Digital Trading Pte. Ltd., for a proposed AI and cloud data center campus on Bintan Island, Indonesia. The memorandum describes up to 500 megawatts of total capacity, with an initial phase of approximately 50 megawatts if the project proceeds.

The company also referenced approximately 180 megawatts of nonbinding expressions of interest from potential tenants, which do not constitute customer contracts, committed revenue, or firm capacity reservations. Project financing has not been obtained, and development remains subject to due diligence, definitive agreements, financing, and regulatory approvals.
