Marea Therapeutics, a subsidiary of Lisata Therapeutics (Nasdaq: LSTA), announced that Phase 2b clinical data from its TYDAL study of MAR001 will be presented at the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions 2026, scheduled for November 6–9, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois.
The presentation, titled "TYDAL-TIMI 78: A Randomized Trial of ANGPTL4 Inhibition With MAR001 in Adults With Elevated Triglycerides and Remnant Cholesterol Concentrations," is scheduled for Monday, November 9, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. CT, in the late-breaking science session focused on cardiometabolic risk reduction.
MAR001 is a monoclonal antibody targeting angiopoietin-like protein 4 (ANGPTL4), a protein expressed in adipose tissue. The drug is designed to lower triglycerides by inhibiting ANGPTL4 and increasing lipoprotein lipase activity. It is in Phase 2b clinical development for severe hypertriglyceridemia, a condition characterized by very high triglyceride levels.
Marea is also developing MAR005, described as a half-life-extended version of MAR001 with an improved pharmacokinetic profile, which the company has designated as its planned Phase 3 candidate for the same indication. Additionally, the company is advancing MAR002 for the treatment of acromegaly.
