Palantir gains as Rosenblatt reaffirms buy rating

Palantir Technologies stock rose 4.3% in morning trading today after Rosenblatt Securities maintained its Buy rating and $225 price target on the shares.

The firm pointed to the Federal Aviation Administration's launch of its AI-powered SMART system at three major Washington-area airports as validation of Palantir's government AI capabilities. The deployment marks the first live U.S. rollout of the technology for managing flights.

Rosenblatt published its analyst note today, reaffirming its position on the stock following the FAA system rollout.

Investor focus also turned to Chipotle Mexican Grill's pilot of a Food Safety Risk Management Platform built on Palantir's Foundry software. The platform combines restaurant-level data, including health department inspection scores, pest incidents, and employee illness reports, to assign a food safety risk score to each location.

The partnership demonstrates Palantir's growing presence in commercial and consumer-facing industries. The FAA deployment and Chipotle pilot underscore the reach of Palantir's Foundry and AIP platforms across government and enterprise clients.

A Motley Fool article published today suggested Palantir could be a candidate for inclusion in the Dow Jones Industrial Average, citing the company's gains since its December 2022 lows.
