Glucotrack unit submits LT-100 clinical protocol for osteoarthritis

September 23, 2026 9:01 AM EDT

Glucotrack, Inc. (NASDAQ: GCTK), through its subsidiary Lōkahi Therapeutics™, has submitted a clinical protocol for regulatory review for LT-100, a biologic candidate targeting osteoarthritis knee pain, according to a company statement.

The planned study will evaluate LT-100 administered via once-weekly subcutaneous injection, compared to a historical regimen of 15 weekly intradermal injections. The company said study initiation is targeted for the near term, subject to regulatory feedback and standard development requirements.

Glucotrack completed a strategic business combination on July 14, under which Lōkahi Therapeutics™ became the primary operating focus. Glucotrack Technologies, Inc., the subsidiary focused on continuous blood glucose monitoring, continues to operate under funding terms defined in the merger agreement.

Lōkahi Therapeutics™ also provided an update on its ai² platform, which comprises three components: ai² Pipeline, ai² Talent, and ai² Accelerator. The ai² Pipeline component works with more than 14 university partners to evaluate decommissioned or deprioritized pharmaceutical programs, reviewing a database of more than 12,000 such assets. In its first year, the platform identified over 45 assets that met initial screening criteria, and the company said it is engaged in preliminary business development discussions on certain of those opportunities.

The ai² Talent component uses student participants from the pipeline program to build industry experience, while ai² Accelerator supports early-stage technology and innovation initiatives. The company identified one early-stage initiative under the Accelerator, called Qare, as a current example.

Separately, the company noted that conversion of Series A convertible preferred stock remains subject to applicable Nasdaq requirements and other conditions following the July merger closing.
