Lantronix nominates former Navy SEAL Jason Lamb to its board

Lantronix Inc. (Nasdaq: LTRX) has nominated Jason Lamb, a former U.S. Navy SEAL officer and defense technology executive, for election as an independent director at its 2026 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, scheduled for Nov. 3, 2026.



Lamb currently serves as chief executive officer of The LGL Group Inc. (NYSE American: LGL) and brings more than 20 years of experience across special operations, intelligence, technology development and private equity. He also serves on the board of the Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International and as a director of Alpha G Investment Management Inc. Earlier in his career, he founded Hard Yards, which was later acquired by BlackSea Technologies, where he served as chief strategy officer.



Lamb holds degrees from the U.S. Naval Academy, the University of Virginia and the U.S. Naval War College.



As part of a planned board refresh, Chair Hoshi Printer and Director Jim Auker will not stand for re-election and will depart at the November meeting. Printer joined the board in 2010 and has served as chair since 2024. Auker joined in 2025.



Lantronix also disclosed that its unmanned systems business generated $12.6 million in revenue in fiscal 2026 and is expected to represent 15% to 20% of total revenue in fiscal 2027. The company reported more than 30 active engagements across defense, commercial and public safety applications. Disclosed customers and partners include Teal Drones, a Red Cat Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: RCAT) company; Sightline Intelligence; Swarmer Inc. (Nasdaq: SWMR); DoD Solution; and AVT Australia, a CACI International Inc. (NYSE: CACI) company.
