CME Group (NASDAQ: CME) announced plans to launch Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Uniswap (UNI) futures on October 19, pending regulatory review.
The new contracts will be available in two sizes. Bitcoin Cash futures will be offered in a standard contract of 250 BCH and a Micro contract of 25 BCH. Uniswap futures will be available in a standard contract of 10,000 UNI and a Micro contract of 1,000 UNI.
The additions expand CME Group's existing cryptocurrency futures lineup, which already includes Bitcoin, Ether, XRP, Solana, Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, Avalanche, and Sui. According to the company, its cryptocurrency futures and options recorded an average daily volume of 279,800 contracts, equivalent to $8.3 billion in notional value, in the first half of 2026. Average open interest during that period stood at 264,600 contracts, or $15.4 billion in notional value. Contracts added in 2026 across Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, Avalanche, and Sui have contributed more than $1 billion in total notional value year-to-date.
"As crypto markets continue to mature, participants require broader, regulated tools to navigate evolving digital asset related price risk," said Giovanni Vicioso, Global Head of Cryptocurrency Products at CME Group.
The Bitcoin Cash and Uniswap futures are listed on and subject to the rules of CME.
