Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV) announced that the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL) have selected its Clover platform to handle commerce operations at Princess Auto Stadium, according to a company press release.
The partnership brings Clover's presence to six of the nine CFL venues. Clover's platform combines payment processing, point-of-sale technology, and venue management capabilities in a single system, with features including LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi flexibility, and offline transaction capabilities for high-volume events.
"Clover supports six of the nine CFL venues, helping organizations deliver fast, reliable, and seamless commerce experiences for fans through integrated payment acceptance and venue operations tools," said Brian Green, General Manager of Clover Canada at Fiserv.
Blue Bombers President and CEO Wade Miller said the platform will help improve stadium operations. "Clover empowers our staff at Princess Auto Stadium to provide a top quality experience to our fans," Miller said. "It has a strong reputation across other CFL stadiums, and as a valued partner, we're excited that we can now work together to enhance our stadium operations."
The platform also provides venue operators with centralized reporting and business data tools to support back-of-house management.
