Zeo Energy signs deal with Ewyze for off-grid data-center power

September 22, 2026 8:30 AM EDT

Zeo Energy Corp. (Nasdaq: ZEO) announced it has entered into a cooperation agreement with Ewyze Corp. to jointly develop integrated off-grid power and data-center infrastructure, according to a company press release dated Sept. 22, 2026.

Under the agreement, the two companies plan to identify, develop, finance, and commercialize projects primarily in the United States, with selected international markets also under consideration. The collaboration is intended to combine Zeo's public market platform with Ewyze's renewable energy development capabilities.

Ewyze describes itself as an energy and digital infrastructure platform with more than 18 years of experience in renewable energy development, having developed approximately 1.7 gigawatts of renewable power solutions across international markets. Its infrastructure model pairs solar photovoltaic generation and battery energy storage with an additional dispatchable power source — which may include a grid connection, natural gas, or geothermal power — to supply continuous power to co-located data centers.

The companies said the integrated approach is designed to bring data-center capacity online within approximately two to three years from project initiation, where market, land, permitting, financing, and technical conditions allow. Traditional grid interconnection timelines in the United States can stretch five to ten years in many regions.

Timothy Bridgewater, Chief Executive Officer of Zeo Energy, said: "The demand for AI-capable compute infrastructure — and the power required to run it — is growing faster than traditional grid systems can accommodate."

Svante Kumlin, Chief Executive Officer of Ewyze, stated: "The artificial intelligence revolution is fundamentally a power challenge. AI workloads demand vast amounts of reliable, cost-effective energy, and the existing grid simply cannot deliver it at the speed or scale the market requires."

The agreement covers collaboration across the full project development lifecycle, including site identification, land acquisition, permitting, engineering, construction, financing, and commercialization with data-center operators and hyperscale customers. No financial terms of the agreement were disclosed.
