Tonix Pharmaceuticals Holding Corp. (Nasdaq: TNXP) announced a second major managed Medicare payer agreement for its fibromyalgia drug Tonmya (cyclobenzaprine HCl sublingual tablets), effective immediately, according to a company statement.

The new agreement adds approximately 21 million Medicare lives, representing 38% of the roughly 55 million Medicare beneficiaries in the U.S. Combined with a previously announced Medicare agreement, Tonmya's Medicare coverage now totals approximately 32 million lives, or 58% of the U.S. Medicare population.

Total commercial and government payer coverage for Tonmya, including Medicaid coverage in nearly all states and agreements with two group purchasing organizations, now reaches approximately 166 million covered lives, or 53% of the approximately 314 million total U.S. lives.

Tonmya received FDA approval on Aug. 15, 2025, for the treatment of fibromyalgia in adults. The company describes it as the first new prescription medicine approved for fibromyalgia in more than 15 years.

Thomas Englese, Chief Commercial Officer of Tonix Pharmaceuticals, said approximately 50 new sales force representatives have been activated, bringing the total to 150 representatives in the field.

Tonix's patents on Tonmya are expected to provide U.S. market exclusivity until 2034.
