Goliath Resources wraps 2026 drill program at Surebet gold site

Goliath Resources Limited (TSX-V: GOT) (OTCQB: GOTRF) (FSE: B4IF) has completed its 2026 drill program at the Surebet Discovery on its Golddigger Property in British Columbia's Golden Triangle, according to a company press release.

The program consisted of 97 drill holes totaling 48,443 meters completed over 94 days using seven drill rigs. The company reported a 100% intersection rate of quartz-sulphide mineralization across all holes drilled to date. Assay results remain pending for 83 of the 97 holes drilled in 2026.

The total footprint of the Surebet system expanded to 2.01 km², a 12% increase from the 1.8 km² defined before the 2026 drilling season. The Bonanza Zone grew from 1.27 km² to 1.51 km², with extensions of up to 750 meters to the southwest. The Golden Gate Zone expanded from 0.85 km² to 1.17 km², with extensions of 480 meters to the northeast and 540 meters to the southwest.

The 2026 program also identified a new mineralized area called the Big Bulk Zone, located between the Bonanza and Golden Gate zones. The central portion of this zone extends up to 310 meters in length and 110 meters vertically, containing mineralized veinlets stacked up to 58 meters.

Across all 483 holes drilled since the program's inception, 412, or 85%, contain visible gold to the naked eye. Total drilling at Surebet has now surpassed 200,000 meters, with 46 stacked gold-rich veins identified across five main zones: Bonanza, Surebet, Golden Gate, Whopper, and Eldorado. All zones remain open for expansion.

Previously reported metallurgical testing showed gold recoveries of 92.2% using gravity and flotation circuits, with 48.8% recovered through gravity alone without cyanide leaching.

Goliath stated it controls 91,518 hectares in the Golden Triangle, including 56 kilometers of the Red Line geologic trend. The company said it plans to design a 2027 drill program after compiling and modeling all 2026 assay data.
