Omnicom Media, a unit of Omnicom (NYSE: OMC), reported $3.3 billion in new billings for the first half of 2026, the highest figure among the five global media management groups tracked by independent research firm COMvergence, according to a press release issued Sept. 21, 2026.

The figures come from COMvergence's Global Media Agency New Business Barometer H1 2026. On a total new business basis — defined by COMvergence as wins minus losses, including retentions — Omnicom Media recorded $3.15 billion, placing it near the top of the global media group ranking.

Three Omnicom Media agencies — PHD, Hearts United and OMD — ranked among the top five globally for total new business. PHD claimed the top position. For net new business, PHD, Hearts United and Initiative took the top three spots globally.

PHD's wins during the period included Adidas, Roku, SkyShowtime and Xiaomi. Hearts United, described as Omnicom Media's newest agency, secured Royal Caribbean International and Major League Soccer, and retained 69% of its H1 business, compared with a 28% industry-wide retention rate tracked by COMvergence. Initiative's major wins included IBM.

Global account wins across the group included Adidas, Bloomberg, IBM, Mark Anthony Brands, On and Royal Caribbean International. Regional wins spanned markets including the U.S., Europe, China, the UK, India, Mexico and Australia.

Retained clients during the period included Uber, Delta Air Lines, Dyson, Epic Games, Cox Automotive, Alibaba, Etsy and Take-Two Interactive, among others.

"Our leading new-business volume in the first half of 2026 is powerful validation of what we've built at Omnicom Media," said Florian Adamski, CEO of Omnicom Media.

The results follow Omnicom's acquisition of IPG, which the company said has enabled it to connect media capabilities with data, identity and technology services.
