Kyndryl (NYSE: KD) has been awarded a 10-year NASPO ValuePoint Cloud and Software Solutions contract (ID: LS5006), giving state agencies, higher education institutions, counties, municipalities and other public entities across the United States access to the company's cloud, software and modernization services.
The contract covers software as a service, infrastructure as a service, platform as a service and on-premises environments. Under the agreement, public agencies can access services including legacy system modernization, constituent-facing digital services, social services case management systems, and contact center capabilities.
NASPO ValuePoint is the cooperative purchasing division of the National Association of State Procurement Officials, which aggregates demand across all 50 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories to provide public entities with competitively sourced contracts.
Anita Mikus, VP and Managing Director of U.S. State and Local Government at Kyndryl, said the contract is intended to reduce procurement complexity. "The NASPO ValuePoint contract helps agencies move more efficiently from planning to implementation, reducing procurement complexity so they can focus on modernizing critical systems, strengthening resiliency and delivering better services to residents," she said.
Participating states can use the contract framework, which includes consistent terms and conditions, while retaining flexibility to address state-specific requirements through participating addendums.
