Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) and Siemens (OTC: SIEGY) announced an expansion of their partnership at Dreamforce, combining Salesforce's Agentforce platform with Siemens' Teamcenter Service Lifecycle Management system to automate industrial sales and service workflows.
The integration allows service technicians to identify spare parts for specific equipment serial numbers before site visits, enables sales representatives to generate technically valid quotes, and lets customers order parts without contacting an engineer. Questions previously routed to engineering teams can now be answered within customer-facing workflows.
"By embedding our digital twin into the commercial workflow, we are putting a virtual engineer in the hands of service technicians and salespersons," said Roland Busch, President and CEO of Siemens AG.
Siemens has also deployed Agentforce to manage inbound lead qualification across its sales organization of 18,000 sellers. The company previously received over 2,500 unqualified leads per month with no automated means of prioritization. Two AI agents now handle the process: an engagement agent that contacts incoming leads and moves interested prospects forward, and a qualification agent that vets each lead before routing it to a seller. Siemens now engages 100% of inbound leads across 132 countries.
The companies also plan to automate partner onboarding. An AI agent called Piper will respond to prospective distributors and book qualified partners directly with a partner account manager. A Slackbot will then manage onboarding steps including certification, financial, and risk checks, while Agentforce Operations, powered by Regrello, will complete final steps in SAP without manual input. According to the companies, this is expected to reduce supplier onboarding time from weeks to days.
"We're bringing the best of our technology, expertise, and industry knowledge together to reinvent how work gets done," said Marc Benioff, Chair and CEO of Salesforce.
The announcement was made based on a press release issued by Salesforce.
