Flex (Nasdaq: FLEX) announced that Amy B. Schwetz will join the company as Chief Financial Officer of its Regulated Manufacturing Services and Integrated Technology Services segments on Oct. 5, 2026, and is expected to serve as Flex CFO following the planned separation of its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into an independent company to be called Axiom Solutions International, Inc.
Schwetz has more than 25 years of finance and accounting experience. She most recently served as CFO of Flowserve and previously held the CFO role at Peabody Energy over a 14-year tenure. She began her career at Ernst & Young.
Flex also announced the expected board compositions for both Flex and Axiom following the separation. Four new directors were named: George R. Oliver, former chair and CEO of Johnson Controls, and Brian Yoor, former CFO of Abbott Laboratories, are expected to join the Flex board. Mark Eubanks, CEO of Brink's, and David Johnson, CFO of Corteva, Inc., are expected to join the Axiom board.
Oliver and Eubanks will join the Flex board effective Sept. 24, 2026. After the separation, Oliver will remain on the Flex board while Eubanks transitions to the Axiom board. Yoor and Johnson are expected to join their respective boards upon completion of the separation.
The Flex board following the separation is expected to include current Flex CEO Revathi Advaithi, who is also expected to serve as Axiom CEO, and Michael Hartung, Flex's current Chief Commercial Officer, who is expected to become Flex CEO post-separation.
The separation is expected to be completed in the first quarter of calendar 2027, subject to conditions including Flex board approval, effectiveness of a Form 10 registration statement filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and approval from Flex shareholders and the Singapore High Court. Upon completion, Flex and Axiom are each expected to operate as independent publicly traded companies.
