Flex (NASDAQ: FLEX) has named its planned cloud and power infrastructure spin-off Axiom Solutions International, Inc. and filed a preliminary Form 10 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, according to a company statement released Sept. 15, 2026.
The new entity, to be referred to as Axiom, is expected to trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol "AXM" following the completion of the separation. The Form 10 includes information on Axiom's business strategy, financial profile, leadership team, and anticipated terms of the separation.
Revathi Advaithi, Flex's chief executive officer and expected chief executive officer of Axiom, said the company is "built to lead the next generation of critical digital and electrical infrastructure" by combining power, thermal management, and compute at the system level.
The separation is expected to be completed in the first quarter of calendar year 2027, subject to conditions including final approval by the Flex board of directors, the effectiveness of the Form 10, and approval from Flex shareholders and the Singapore High Court.
Upon completion, Flex and Axiom are expected to operate as independent publicly traded companies. Additional details on each company's strategy are scheduled to be presented at an Innovation Day event on Nov. 10, 2026, in Austin, Texas.
