Faraday Future plans robotics launch event and adds govt. advisor

Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (NASDAQ: FFAI) announced plans for a product launch event on September 19 at 5:00 p.m. PT, where the company said it will introduce new robotics products under its "Four-Core Full-Stack AI" ecosystem, according to a weekly investor update from founder and Global CEO YT Jia.

The company said it plans to unveil nine new robot devices at the event, covering humanoid, quadruped, and mobile manipulator forms in multiple sizes. Faraday Future also said it will launch four industry solutions targeting K-12 education, research, security, and inspection.

The company highlighted its autonomous perception and 3D scanning technology, which it describes as using multi-sensor fusion and Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) to enable robots to navigate environments, avoid obstacles, and perform patrol or inspection tasks without continuous remote control.

On September 28, Faraday Future said it will hold a business partner conference focused on recruiting partners for U.S. local manufacturing, supply chain, product certification, and market access. The company also said it plans to exhibit at the IROS 2026 robotics conference in Pittsburgh from September 28 to 30.

Faraday Future also announced that Steven Newton, described as a senior advisor to the U.S. General Services Administration and a member of the Los Angeles Unified School District Procurement Committee, has joined the company as a senior strategic advisor. The company said Newton has more than 25 years of experience in government procurement and will focus on federal government procurement access, the company's partnership with LAUSD, and K-12 and higher education market development.
