DSS, Inc. launches robotics subsidiary targeting enterprise automation

DSS, Inc. (NYSE American: DSS) announced the launch of DSS Robotics, a new business unit focused on AI-powered robotics and intelligent automation services for enterprise customers, according to a company press release dated Sept. 8, 2026.

The new subsidiary plans to offer services including strategic consulting, systems integration, deployment, lifecycle support and Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS). DSS Robotics intends to work with technology partners to identify and deploy robotics and AI solutions tailored to customer operating environments.

As part of the initiative, DSS Robotics plans to establish an AI and Robotics Innovation Center at DSS Premier Packaging's manufacturing facility in Rochester, New York. The center is intended to function as both an operational deployment site and a customer demonstration facility for applications spanning manufacturing, logistics and commercial operations.

"Artificial intelligence and robotics are changing how businesses approach operations," said Jason Grady, Chief Executive Officer of DSS, Inc. "DSS Robotics is a natural extension of our enterprise technology capabilities, with a focus on applying automation to real operational needs and delivering measurable value for customers."

DSS said it expects the new business to complement its existing enterprise technology activities and generate opportunities for systems integration, recurring services and longer-term customer relationships. The company did not disclose financial terms, investment amounts or a timeline for commercial operations.

DSS, Inc. is a multinational company with operations in product packaging, biotechnology, commercial lending, and securities and investment management.
