RXO (NYSE: RXO), a Charlotte, N.C.-based transportation solutions provider, has entered into a preferred partnership with Enterprise Purchasing Group (epg), a group purchasing organization focused on logistics procurement, according to a press release.
Under the agreement, RXO becomes epg's official provider of full-truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) freight services. epg members will receive pre-negotiated pricing and access to RXO's network of more than 125,000 carriers and approximately 1.7 million trucks across North America.
The partnership also gives epg members access to more than 125 LTL providers and direct integration with RXO's RXO Connect platform for shipment processing, tracking, and visibility.
"By combining our massive capacity and cutting-edge technology with epg's position as the world's leading logistics purchasing organization, we're helping businesses drive efficiency, reduce costs, and secure reliable trucking capacity in any market," said Lou Amo, president of RXO's freight brokerage business.
Scott Campbell, chief executive officer of epg, said the partnership "creates a powerful one-two punch" and described RXO as "the go-to freight broker in North America."
