Mint to tokenize Nasdaq-listed shares on Ethereum and Solana
Mint Incorporation Limited (NASDAQ: MIMI), a Hong Kong-based artificial intelligence and robotics company, announced it has entered into a binding consulting agreement with CURRENC Capital Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Currenc Group Inc. (NASDAQ: CURR), to support the tokenization of a portion of Mint's Class A ordinary shares on the Ethereum and Solana blockchains.
Under the agreement, CURRENC Capital will provide advisory and facilitation services for the tokenization process. Transfer agent, registrar, and tokenization platform services will be handled under a separate arrangement. The company said completion of the tokenization remains subject to applicable regulatory requirements, and no assurance was given that it will be completed or completed on the anticipated timetable.
Mint said the tokenization is not intended to alter the rights attached to its Class A ordinary shares. The shares will continue to trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market and settle under standard Nasdaq settlement arrangements. The company noted that no trading market for the tokens currently exists and no assurance was given that such a market will develop or be permitted.
Mint Chairman and CEO Damian Chan said the initiative is aimed at modernizing the company's shareholder infrastructure, describing the move as consistent with its broader technology focus.
CURRENC Capital's parent company, Currenc, completed its own tokenization of listed ordinary shares on Ethereum and Solana in April 2026, according to the press release.
