Genpact (NYSE: G) has appointed Priya Vijayarajendran as Chief Product and Platform Officer and a member of its Leadership Council, the company announced.
Vijayarajendran joins from ASAPP, an enterprise AI company, where she served as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member. In that role, she consolidated point solutions into a unified agentic AI platform. She previously served as ASAPP's President of Technology and Chief Technology Officer, during which time she built generative AI platforms and led research and development efforts that produced more than 70 AI patents.
Before ASAPP, she led Microsoft's global Azure Data and AI business and served as IBM's Chief Technology Officer for Cognitive, IoT, and Watson Health. She also spent two decades at SAP in product, innovation, and enterprise architecture roles.
In her new position, Vijayarajendran will oversee Genpact's shift toward product and platform strategy, focusing on proprietary agentic solutions built on a standardized enterprise platform.
"The durable advantage in this market is owned IP and process intelligence which Genpact uniquely brings and is hard to replicate," said Balkrishan "BK" Kalra, President and CEO of Genpact.
