GE Vernova and LS Electric form HVDC joint venture in South Korea

GE Vernova Inc. (NYSE: GEV) announced it has signed an agreement with LS Electric to establish a joint venture focused on Voltage-Sourced Converter High-Voltage Direct Current (VSC-HVDC) technology, according to a company press release.
The joint venture is aimed at expanding GE Vernova's presence in South Korea's power grid sector, where VSC-HVDC systems are considered a component of the country's next-generation electricity infrastructure.
