Veea's VHC25 passes Totalplay technical review in Mexico

August 26, 2026 7:02 AM EDT

Veea Inc. (NASDAQ: VEEA) announced that its VHC25 VeeaHub device has completed the technical qualification process required by Total Play Telecomunicaciones ("Totalplay"), a step the companies describe as a milestone toward offering Veea's SecureConnect and VigiLynx services to Totalplay business customers in Mexico.

The two companies have signed a collaboration agreement that combines Totalplay's fiber connectivity and managed-services operations with Veea's cloud-managed edge platform. Totalplay reported approximately 5.7 million service subscribers and 19.5 million homes passed by its network as of June 30, 2026.

SecureConnect is described as a managed connectivity and cybersecurity service, while VigiLynx adds video intelligence, IoT sensor integration and edge analytics. Both run on Veea's VeeaONE platform, which the company says allows businesses to add services without deploying separate infrastructure for each capability.

The Totalplay agreement follows a previously announced commercial launch of the same platform over Telcel's 5G network. In July 2026, Veea said its subsidiary VeeaSystems had begun generating revenue after Telcel initiated customer billing for SecureConnect under the Internet Gestionado brand. VigiLynx was subsequently made available to eligible Internet Gestionado customers.

"Connectivity is foundational as the entry point, not the end product," said Allen Salmasi, Chairman and CEO of Veea. "Totalplay has built the network, customer relationships and managed-services engine. Veea adds the cybersecure intelligence layer inside the customer location."

According to the press release, Veea views Mexico as a market for validating an operator-led distribution model, with potential expansion to other telecommunications providers across Latin America.
