August 25, 2026 8:04 AM EDT

CVRx, Inc. (NASDAQ: CVRX) issued a statement on Aug. 25, 2026, responding to a public letter from Jorey Chernett of Pointillist Family Office, addressed to CVRx's Board of Directors and dated Aug. 24, 2026.

In its statement, the CVRx board said it "regularly evaluates a full range of options to maximize value for all shareholders" and acknowledged an "open dialogue" with Chernett.

The company said it agrees with Chernett's characterization of its Barostim device as a "highly differentiated, validated therapy" and that CVRx's current valuation "does not fully capture the potential of the underlying business." The board added it is "confident in the fundamentals of the business" and its strategies to grow Barostim while managing expenses.

The board said it "is open to constructive engagement with all of its shareholders and will continue to pursue the best course of action consistent with its fiduciary duties to all shareholders."

Barostim is described by the company as the only FDA-approved neuromodulation therapy for heart failure in the U.S. The device has also received CE Mark approval for heart failure and resistant hypertension in the European Economic Area.
