Nvidia makes minority investment in Cloverleaf Infrastructure

Cloverleaf Infrastructure LLC announced a strategic partnership with Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), under which Nvidia made a minority investment in the company to support the development of AI data center infrastructure across the United States.

The investment is intended to help Cloverleaf and its utility partners meet growing demand for accelerated computing. Founded in 2024, Cloverleaf said it has built a development pipeline and delivered multiple gigawatt-scale projects to customers across North America.

As part of the partnership, Cloverleaf will use the Nvidia DSX platform to integrate site, power, cooling, computing, and facility planning earlier in the design phase. Once operational, the platform's infrastructure and software will be used to help customers manage energy use and computing capacity.

"AI factories are the infrastructure of the intelligence age, and land, power and shell are their foundation," said Nico Caprez, Vice President of Global AI Infrastructure Growth at Nvidia. "Cloverleaf brings deep expertise in power and site development to create exceptional, long-lived sites for generations of accelerated computing."

Through the arrangement, Cloverleaf customers will have access to Nvidia's broader product stack, including accelerated computing, high-performance networking, infrastructure software, and the Nvidia DSX platform.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC served as financial advisor and Kirkland & Ellis LLP served as legal counsel to Cloverleaf. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.
