Zero Networks announced an expansion of its integration with Palo Alto Networks (NASDAQ: PANW), adding traffic redirection, unified management through Strata Cloud Manager, and AI security capabilities to the companies' existing joint solution.
The original integration, announced in February 2025, combined Zero Networks' automated asset discovery, dynamic tagging, and identity-driven microsegmentation with Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls. The expanded version allows customers to redirect selected traffic to Palo Alto Networks security services for deeper Layer 7 inspection and manage enforcement through Strata Cloud Manager.
Traffic redirection is currently available for Linux environments, with Windows support planned. Zero Networks-managed assets and policies can now be surfaced through Strata Cloud Manager, providing security teams with a consolidated view of assets, segmentation policies, and related controls.
The expanded integration also connects Zero Networks AI Segmentation with Palo Alto Networks Prisma AIRS to apply security controls to AI agents and their traffic. Zero Networks identifies AI agents and applies identity-based policies to restrict each agent to approved systems, while selected AI traffic can be redirected to Prisma AIRS for inspection of prompts, responses, and data flows.
"Zero Networks controls which connections are allowed, Palo Alto Networks provides deep inspection," said Benny Lakunishok, co-founder and CEO of Zero Networks. "Together, we can contain malicious activity before it can move across the environment."
According to a statement from Zero Networks, the integration uses existing enforcement capabilities from both platforms, allowing customers to expand protection without redesigning network infrastructure. The expanded integration, including automated microsegmentation, dynamic asset tagging, policy synchronization, and Linux traffic redirection, is available now.
