Sagtec Global gets Nasdaq minimum bid price deficiency notice
Sagtec Global Limited (Nasdaq: SAGT) disclosed that it received a notice from Nasdaq on August 18, 2026, stating the company is not in compliance with the exchange's minimum bid price requirement under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2).
The notice was issued after the closing bid price of the company's ordinary shares fell below $1.00 per share for 30 consecutive business days. The disclosure was made pursuant to Nasdaq Listing Rule 5810(b), which requires prompt disclosure of a deficiency notification.
The notice does not immediately affect the listing or trading of Sagtec's Class A Ordinary Shares on Nasdaq.
Under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(A), the company has 180 calendar days, until February 16, 2027, to regain compliance. Compliance can be achieved if the closing bid price reaches at least $1.00 for a minimum of 10 consecutive business days during that period.
If the company does not regain compliance by February 16, 2027, it may qualify for an additional 180-day compliance period, provided it meets continued listing requirements for market value of publicly held shares and all other initial listing standards, except the minimum bid price rule. Options to cure the deficiency include effecting a reverse stock split, which must be completed no later than 10 business days before the expiration of the compliance period.
Sagtec Global, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, said it is monitoring its share price and considering available options to regain compliance.
