SEALSQ Corp (NASDAQ: LAES) and Palm Technologies Private Limited have announced a partnership to integrate SEALSQ's QS7001 hardware security technology into Palm Technologies' biometric authentication products targeting the Indian market, according to a joint statement released Aug. 18, 2026.

Under the agreement, SEALSQ will provide its QS7001 quantum-resistant secure element technology and technical support, while Palm Technologies will lead product architecture, biometric system design, firmware, application development, system integration, local compliance and deployment. Each company retains ownership of its respective pre-existing intellectual property.

The initial focus is the integration of the QS7001 into Palm Technologies' MetPalm V1 product, designed for metro and toll payment applications. Palm Technologies also intends to extend the design to its Palm-M merchant payment terminal and its OrbitQops product line, which covers robotics, drones and unmanned aerial vehicles, electric vehicles, satellites, networks and IoT devices.

The partnership targets several Indian market verticals, including digital payments, public transit, defense communications, electric vehicles and robotics.

SEALSQ's QS7001 is a hardware security microcontroller unit designed for post-quantum cryptographic algorithms, including Kyber and Dilithium.

Carlos Moreira, Chief Executive Officer of SEALSQ, said the collaboration represents "an important commercial design-in opportunity for SEALSQ in one of the world's most rapidly expanding digital-infrastructure markets."

Mayur Sunil Anecha, Chief Visionary Officer of Palm Technologies, said the company's role is "to turn SEALSQ's QS7001 from a proven secure element into products in the field," beginning with MetPalm for transit and Palm-M for merchant payments.

Palm Technologies is based in Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra, India. SEALSQ is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.
