Micron Technology (NASDAQ: MU) launched the Micron Ventures Paradigm Fund, a $250 million investment vehicle targeting companies across the artificial intelligence technology stack, according to a press release issued Aug. 13, 2026.
The fund is Micron Ventures' third and largest to date, following Fund I, launched in 2019, and Fund II, launched in 2022 and still actively deploying capital. With the addition of the Paradigm Fund, Micron Ventures' total capital commitment reaches $550 million.
The Paradigm Fund will focus on four areas: AI model architecture and data infrastructure, compute and data center efficiency, enterprise applications including semiconductor design and manufacturing, and physical AI such as robotics and new device form factors.
Rene Hartner, vice president of corporate development at Micron, said in the statement: "These advancements converge on one common need: high-performance memory and storage solutions. Micron's Paradigm Fund will invest in and partner with startups driving these innovations and strengthen our ability to deliver leading memory and storage solutions to meet the growing AI demands."
The Boise, Idaho-based company said the fund is structured to give Micron closer partnerships with startups and earlier access to technologies it expects will shape future AI infrastructure requirements, particularly around memory and storage.
