CrowdStrike expands Project QuiltWorks AI security to SMBs

CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) is expanding its Project QuiltWorks cybersecurity program to small and medium-sized businesses through a group of channel partners, according to a company press release.

Arrow Electronics, Ignition Technology, Nord Security, Pax8, TD SYNNEX, Westcon-Comstor, and Zip Security will distribute the program to SMBs through their global networks of managed service providers and managed security service providers.

Project QuiltWorks combines AI-driven vulnerability discovery with remediation services, cloud infrastructure from Amazon Web Services, and cyber insurance protections. The program uses AI models from OpenAI and Anthropic and runs on CrowdStrike's Falcon platform.

"SMBs are the backbone of the global economy and need the same standard of protection as the world's largest enterprises," said Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike. "The channel is how QuiltWorks can reach every organization, regardless of size, sector, or geography."

The expansion is aimed at giving smaller organizations access to capabilities that CrowdStrike says have previously been available primarily to enterprise customers. The participating distributors and their partner networks already deliver managed security services to SMBs across multiple regions.
