Bed Bath & Beyond names Jill Windrum as CAO and deputy CFO

Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. (NYSE: BBBY) has appointed Jill Windrum as Chief Accounting Officer and Deputy Chief Financial Officer, the company announced.



Windrum brings nearly 25 years of financial and accounting experience, including more than a decade in public-company finance leadership roles. She previously served in multiple CFO positions at Maxar Technologies, including as Chief Financial Officer of its approximately $500 million U.S. Government business, CFO of its $1 billion Earth Intelligence business, and Interim Chief Financial Officer during Maxar's acquisition by Advent International.



At Maxar, now known as Vantor, Windrum also led technical accounting and external financial reporting. She later joined DHI Group as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis and Revenue Operations. She began her career at KPMG, where she served as a Director in the firm's Department of Professional Practice within its National Office. Windrum is a Certified Public Accountant.



In her new role, Windrum will oversee the company's accounting and financial reporting functions while working across the organization on financial planning, controls, integration, and process improvement.



"She has the technical foundation, public-company experience and operating judgment to help us execute at a higher level," said Marcus Lemonis, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bed Bath & Beyond.



Bed Bath & Beyond owns or holds ownership interests in several retail brands, including Overstock, buybuy BABY, Kirkland's, Kirkland's Home, SFV Services, and The Container Store, as well as a blockchain asset portfolio that includes tZERO and GrainChain.
