Microbot Medical Inc. (NASDAQ: MBOT) reported revenue growth of more than 100% in its fiscal second quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared to the first quarter ended March 31, 2026, according to a 10-Q filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company attributed the increase to repeat orders, expanded utilization among existing customers, and new customer additions following the Full Market Release of its LIBERTY Endovascular Robotic System in mid-April 2026. The Full Market Release was launched at the Society of Interventional Radiology Annual Scientific Meeting.
New health systems in Massachusetts, North Carolina, Michigan, and Pennsylvania adopted the LIBERTY System during the quarter, joining existing customers in Georgia, Florida, and New York. The company also increased the number of hospital sites within existing customer health systems.
Microbot expanded its sales force from four to eight territories during the quarter and said it is on track to reach 12 territories across the U.S. by year-end. The company entered into an agreement with Lovell Government Services Inc. to serve federal healthcare systems, providing access to more than 2,000 government healthcare facilities.
Israel granted marketing clearance for the LIBERTY System during the quarter, making it the first jurisdiction outside the U.S. to do so. The company said it is working toward obtaining a CE Mark in Europe.
Microbot also entered into an agreement with Sanmina to establish a second manufacturing site aimed at expanding production capacity for U.S. and international markets.
Cost of revenue increased in the three-month period ended June 30, 2026, compared to the prior quarter. The company stated it expects to substantially reduce its cost of revenue going forward, citing the completion of its Limited Market Release phase and ongoing cost reduction initiatives.
"We are continuing to enhance our commercial team, expand our sales footprint and work closely with existing accounts to expand U.S. sites and increase utilization," said Harel Gadot, CEO, President and Chairman.
