Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has announced the launch of Strigo, a modular defense product line comprising radio-frequency sensors, missile datalinks, and missile seeker technologies built on a common architecture, according to a company press release dated Aug. 10, 2026.
The company said it has established a dedicated Strigo Product Center to support development and delivery of the new capabilities. Lockheed Martin has committed $250 million to the center to date, with the investment aimed at funding research and development ahead of formal customer requirements.
The Strigo Product Center was established less than two years ago and has advanced multiple concepts from initial design through testing. The company said technologies developed through the Strigo program have informed aspects of the PrSM Increment 2 seeker package.
The product line is designed to be reconfigured for missions including air defense, missile defense, and air-to-surface engagements. Lockheed Martin said the common architecture is intended to lower lifecycle costs and support long-term sustainment.
"By putting proactive research and development at the forefront, the Strigo Product Center lets us test and deploy new solutions at unprecedented speed," said Stacy Kubicek, vice president and general manager of Lockheed Martin Sensors and Global Sustainment.
The company said it plans to continue investing in RF sensor, missile seeker, and missile datalink technologies.
