KBR wins $208M Army contract for tactical munitions support

KBR (NYSE: KBR) announced that its Mission Technology Solutions business, which is planned to be spun off as an independent public company called Trinzic in January 2027, has been awarded an estimated $208 million cost-plus-fixed-fee task order from the U.S. Army.

The five-year task order, awarded under the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Plus (OASIS+) contract vehicle, extends KBR's role supporting the Army's Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) portfolio.

Under the contract, KBR will provide support across the full lifecycle of several weapon systems, including HELLFIRE, Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM), Javelin, Tube-launched Optically-tracked Wireless-guided (TOW) missiles, Hydra Rockets, and Long-Range Precision Munitions (LRPM). Services include engineering, rapid prototyping, modernization, foreign military sales, and global logistics.

"For more than 25 years, KBR has helped take the Army's most important precision weapons from concept to combat readiness, shortening development timelines and accelerating delivery to the field."

The contract also covers support for Army modernization priorities including multi-domain operations, Army Aviation lethality, and Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) capabilities.

KBR's Mission Technology Solutions business is expected to launch as Trinzic with more than $5 billion in annual revenue, 18,000 employees, and an existing portfolio of contracts and partnerships.
