On August 5, 2026, American Public Education, Inc. (the “Company”) completed the previously announced combination (the “Combination”) of American Public University System, Rasmussen University, and Hondros College of Nursing into one consolidated institution named American Public University System (the “System”). In connection with the Combination, the Higher Learning Commission has approved the continuation of accreditation of the System, which encompasses the programs, campuses, and operations of the previously separate institutions. Angela K. Selden, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, has been appointed Chancellor of the System.
