Bed Bath & Beyond (NYSE: BBBY) announced it will rename its parent company to Neighborhood Intelligence and transfer its stock listing from the New York Stock Exchange to Nasdaq under the ticker NXH, with the last day of NYSE trading set for Aug. 14 and the first day on Nasdaq on Aug. 17.
The company will also relocate its corporate headquarters to Nashville, Tennessee. The rebrand does not affect its consumer-facing brands, which include Bed Bath & Beyond, Overstock, buybuy BABY, Kirkland's, The Container Store, Lumber Liquidators, and Cabinets To Go.
In a shareholder letter, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Marcus Lemonis described the company as organized around three business pillars: Omni-Channel Retail, Home Services, and Home Ownership. The company said it targets families across the full arc of homeownership, from purchase and financing to renovation, maintenance, and resale.
Lemonis said the company has posted two consecutive quarters of revenue growth following 19 quarters of revenue decline, and cited eight quarters of operating improvement. He said the company believes it can remove more than $50 million in annualized costs over the next 12 months by consolidating systems, shared services, and third-party agreements across its acquired businesses.
The company also holds investments in blockchain and tokenization businesses, including GrainChain and tZERO, which it described as part of its Home Ownership infrastructure. A proprietary customer-facing platform called Norm™ is in development, with a first version planned for later in 2026.
The shareholder letter, which serves as the source for this report, also noted pending acquisitions, including transactions with Fathom Holdings and F9 Brands, and cautioned that forward-looking statements involve material risks and uncertainties.
