Sagtec Global CEO and COO buy shares in private transactions
Sagtec Global Limited (Nasdaq: SAGT) announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Ng Chen Lok, and Chief Operating Officer, Long Xin Yee, each acquired Class A ordinary shares from existing public shareholders through privately negotiated transactions completed on July 31, 2026.
Ng acquired 300,000 Class A ordinary shares, increasing his beneficial ownership from 8,452,600 to 8,752,600 Class A ordinary shares. His holdings of 2,000,000 Class B ordinary shares remained unchanged. His ownership of outstanding Class A ordinary shares rose from approximately 40.35% to 41.78%, and his aggregate voting power increased from approximately 79.50% to 79.99%, based on the company's dual-class share structure, in which each Class B ordinary share carries 20 votes compared to one vote per Class A share.
Long acquired 62,500 Class A ordinary shares. The two transactions combined totaled 362,500 Class A ordinary shares.
"Our decision to increase our personal investment reflects our strong confidence in Sagtec's long-term vision and future growth opportunities," Ng said in a statement.
Both purchases were made using personal funds and were completed in accordance with applicable securities laws and Nasdaq listing requirements, according to the company's press release.
