Veritone Redact links with MCCi's JustFOIA for records redaction

Veritone, Inc. (NASDAQ: VERI) announced that its Veritone Redact product is integrating with MCCi's JustFOIA platform, targeting state, local, and education government agencies that handle public records requests.

JustFOIA is a records request management platform that guides agencies through the process from intake to delivery. The integration adds automated redaction of sensitive information in audio, video, and image files to JustFOIA's existing workflow automation tools, which include features such as deadline reminders and requester communications.

MCCi CEO Donny Barstow cited tight compliance deadlines and manual workflows as the primary challenge for its public sector customers. "We picked Veritone because of their proven track record and position in the marketplace, which is incredibly important for us to help ensure a seamless user experience," Barstow said.

Veritone CEO Ryan Steelberg said the volume of digital media and public records requests makes manual redaction unsustainable for government teams. "By integrating Veritone Redact with MCCi's JustFOIA, we are empowering government teams with AI-driven automation that seamlessly fits into their existing workflows," Steelberg said.

The announcement was made according to a press release from Veritone, which is based in Irvine, California.
