Ares Management Corporation (NYSE: ARES) closed approximately $8.2 billion in U.S. direct lending commitments across 69 transactions during the second quarter of 2026, according to a press release from the company.
In the 12 months ended June 30, 2026, Ares Credit funds closed approximately $52.3 billion across 347 transactions.
Among the transactions closed in the second quarter, Ares served as administrative agent, joint lead arranger and joint bookrunner for a senior secured credit facility supporting Mill Point Capital-backed AeriTek's acquisition of National Refrigeration & A/C Products.
Ares also served in the same capacity for a facility supporting Advent International's acquisition of Atwell, a full-service engineering, consulting and construction management firm. Additional transactions included a facility for Bain Capital's growth plans for Frontline Road Safety Holdings and a joint lead arranger role for Monomoy Capital Partners' acquisition of Jiffy Lube International, Inc.
Other notable deals included a facility for Carlyle-backed MAI Capital Management's M&A strategy, an incremental commitment to Precinmac's credit facility backed by Centerbridge Partners, and a facility supporting BayPine's acquisition of Relation Insurance.
Ares also arranged facilities for Greenbriar Equity Group's growth plans for Sunvair Aerospace Group and Littlejohn & Co.'s plans for Valcourt Group, a provider of building envelope maintenance and restoration services.
As of June 30, 2026, Ares Management reported over $671 billion in assets under management globally.
