WillScot launches quick-connect canopy in 12 U.S. markets

WillScot (Nasdaq: WSC) announced the launch of its Quick-Connect Canopy, a deployable covered workspace system that connects compatible modular units, according to a press release issued July 28, 2026.

The product expands WillScot's existing Clearspan portfolio of industrial fabric structures. The canopy is designed to create covered space between modular buildings, storage containers, cold storage units and ground-level offices, supporting uses such as material handling, equipment storage, fabrication and crew coordination.

Key specifications include a 20-foot-wide modular design that scales in 20-foot increments, a 17-foot center clearance compatible with standard DOT vehicles, and a heavy-duty galvanized steel frame with a high-strength fabric covering. The patent-pending, ISO-mounted design attaches to compatible WillScot units without drilling, welding or permanent structural modifications.

The company states the canopy is engineered to meet applicable wind and snow load requirements across more than 75% of its serviceable markets, with engineering documents available to support local permitting where required. Installation is typically completed in a single day by WillScot crews.

The Quick-Connect Canopy is currently available in Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Raleigh/Durham and Tampa, with additional market expansion planned.
