Qnity launches two thermal interface materials for AI and electronics

Qnity Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: Q) has announced the launch of two thermal interface materials under its Laird brand, targeting engineers working on AI, automotive, and high-power electronic applications.

The first product, Laird Tflex CR910, is a two-part dispensable liquid gap filler with a thermal conductivity of 9.2 W/mK. According to the company, it is designed to manage large or uneven gap tolerances while withstanding mechanical stress.

The second product, Laird Tgrease 3000, is a non-silicone thermal grease rated for operating temperatures up to 200 °C. It offers 3.2 W/mK thermal conductivity and is designed for use with Silicon Carbide and Gallium Nitride devices. The company states the product features low pump-out characteristics intended to improve reliability and extend product life.

"As AI, advanced computing and electrification continue to push system performance to new levels, managing heat has become one of the industry's most important engineering challenges," said Chuck Xu, President of Interconnect Solutions at Qnity.

The announcement was made in a press release issued by the Wilmington, Delaware-based company.
