VinFast partners with akf-Bank to expand dealer network in Germany

VinFast Auto Ltd. (NASDAQ: VFS) has entered into a partnership with akf-Bank to provide financing solutions for VinFast dealers in Germany, according to a press release issued July 28, 2026.
Under the agreement, VinFast dealers will gain access to akf-Bank's inventory financing and individually tailored financing concepts for both private and fleet customer sales. akf-Bank is a Wuppertal-based specialist financier and part of the Vorwerk Group.
Christian Marti, CEO of VinFast Europe, said, "Germany is one of our key European markets, and a strong dealer network is fundamental to our long-term growth. Partnering with akf-Bank supports our retail partners' growth while making it easier for customers across Germany to choose electric mobility."
Rainer Bickel, akf-Bank Sales Director autofinanz, said, "As a reliable partner to SMEs, we want to support VinFast dealers with needs-based financing solutions to successfully develop their business and actively shape the market ramp-up of electromobility in Germany."
VinFast currently offers the VF 6 electric SUV and VF 8 electric SUV, along with electric buses, in Germany and across Europe. The company has also established service and after-sales partnerships with Mobivia, whose brands include Norauto in France and ATU in Germany, as well as charging partner Plugsurfing.
VinFast is a subsidiary of Vingroup JSC and is headquartered in Vietnam.
