Orion Digital launches investing platform with $20 monthly fee
Orion Digital Corp. (NASDAQ: ORIO) announced the commercial launch of Intelligent Investing, a Canadian wealth platform that combines commission-free trading, AI-powered research tools, and a structured investment decision framework.
The platform charges members a $20 monthly subscription fee. Trading is commission-free, and the company earns a disclosed spread on currency conversions and a 0.10% management fee on managed portfolios. Each membership includes access to Fiscal.ai Max, an AI-powered financial research tool that the company values at $99 per month.
Intelligent Investing is built on Orion Digital's existing Canadian wealth subsidiaries, IntelligentInvesting Securities Inc. and IntelligentInvesting Wealth Management Inc., which together administer approximately C$500 million in client assets across managed and self-directed accounts.
The platform is designed to have investors document investment theses, assumptions, and expected outcomes before committing capital, then benchmark results against the S&P 500 and review original reasoning against actual returns over time.
Greg Feller, President and CFO, said: "Commercial launch marks the transition from product development to commercialization. Our focus now is straightforward: introduce Intelligent Investing to customers, learn quickly from how they use it, continuously improve the platform and allocate capital with discipline."
David Feller, Founder and CEO, said: "Most investors can tell you what they own. Far fewer can explain why they own it - or whether the reasoning behind the decision was sound."
Orion Digital said it intends to expand the platform's reach through the remainder of 2026. The company operates Intelligent Investing alongside Carta Worldwide, a European payments infrastructure platform, and a consumer lending portfolio.
